Hello, my name is Mechelle Jungsten and I am a Doctor of Behavioral Health, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Health and Wellness Coach. My mission is to help you become your best self. I vow to give my clients the space to create the vision they want to see for their lives. My goal is to partner with my clients and assist them as they navigate through their current struggles. I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals and couples. I have a unique niche that combines my counseling and coaching background.
My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan that has a beginning, a middle and an end stage. In my practice I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) interventions, Solution-focused, CBT and Motivational Interviewing interventions (to name a few) which are all evidenced-based practices.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
The International Center For Excellence In Emotionally Focused Therapy. The EFT model focuses on emotion and emotional regulation as the key organizing agents in individual experience and key relationship interactions.
